The authority officials have also announced that they will launch action against the 10 buildings housing several unlawful portions or apartments in Jamshed Town. These buildings were constructed without the approval of the relevant authorities and include small 2 or 3-bedroom apartments. It was reported that the developers of these projects will sell the structures for profit to unsuspecting citizens who will later have to endure the legal consequences.

The SBCA officials warn that the unsanctioned buildings are usually composed of poor designs that threaten the lives of the residents during natural calamities like earthquakes. These low-quality structures are developed on 100-or-200 yard plots and lack the basic amenities.
