Karachi: The Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) demolished various multi-storey buildings in different parts of the city, according to a news report. This action was taken in Federal B Area, Saddar, and Jamshed Town, where nearly five such multi-storey builders were found against building and construction laws.
The authority utilised labourers and heavy machinery and was backed by agents of law enforcement agencies, successfully removing all illegal floors of the buildings. The SBCA Director General Iftikhar Ahmed said that this was a part of SBCA’s drive against illegal structures all across the city which aims to remove more structures that are considered to be in violation of building bylaws.
