Karachi: The Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) has relaunched its one-window facility in the city for the approval of building plans, a news source reported. The facility remains functional for public use from 9 AM till 4 PM.

According to details, the authority has relaunched the service to facilitate the general public and increase the ease of doing business. SBCA Director General (DG) Dr Naseem al Ghani Sahito issued directions to the directors of Computer Section and Maintenance to ensure that the one-window facility is in compliance with the government-issued standard operating procedures (SOPs) on coronavirus prevention.
Subsequently, these measures will include making sure that the public does not form a herd at the one-window counter, visitors keep a safe distance between each other, wear masks, and are provided with sanitizers and walk-through gates.

Meanwhile, the government departments have begun opening after the lockdown measures were eased by the federal and provincial governments along with the introduction of the SOPs. The facility is a part of these measures.
