He instructed the SBCA to provide facilities for disabled people in commercial properties, government buildings and other public places, including religious venues, healthcare centres, and educational institutes. His directives involved building ramps at the entrance of every property, the installation of specialized toilets for the disabled in every bathroom, and designated parking spots.
In special assistant Qamar’s view, these small measures were enough to radically improve the lives of the disabled people in the province, and he expressed his hope that all the relevant departments would cooperate in this regard.
