Karachi: The Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) has launched a crackdown against illegal constructions in Nazimabad and other areas of the city; along with demolishing and sealing a number of unauthorized structures in these locations, a news source reported.

According to details, the SBCA Demolition Squad conducted operation against illegal constructions in Nazimabad and demolished illegal constructions including a floor of an apartment building. They also took action against illegally construction shops in the area.
Similarly, action was taken in North Nazimabad against illegal construction on residential plots. Buildings were demolished including multiple storey buildings that had been constructed in violation of their approvals.

Finally, the demolition squad also took action in the Federal B area where partitions and walls had been constructed in violation of the approved layout – so they too were demolished. The operation in each case was headed by respective deputy and assistant commissioners as well as demolition officers.
