Lahore: Punjab Caretaker Chief Minister (CM) Mohsin Naqvi has directed the officials concerned to complete the Samanabad Underpass project as soon as possible, a news source reported on April 28. The minister visited the project site and expressed displeasure over the delay in the completion of the project.

Later, a meeting was held at the CM office to review the progress of different ongoing development projects in the city. He ordered the authorities to complete all the development projects in Lahore on time. In the meeting, the attendees were briefed on the construction, repair, and rehabilitation project of 54 roads in Lahore. The news source mentioned that footpaths, bike and bicycle tracks will be constructed along the specified roads in the city.

Also, CM Naqvi lauded the efforts of Auqaf and other related departments for making the Data Darbar parking project operational on time. The minister has directed the Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) to start a plantation along the runway at Allama Iqbal International Airport.
