ISLAMABAD: The National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) has vowed to complete the Islamabad Safe City project by October.
Reportedly, the project will cost Rs 12 billion, under which 1,950 cameras will be installed, out of which 1,706 cameras will be used for surveillance.
Nadra Member Finance Mr Shahid Hamid has said that real time facial recognition system will be introduced through which it would be possible to arrest the suspects if their picture was already available in the database.
