Karachi: The Sindh Home Minister Zia ul Hassan Lanjar has unveiled the ‘Safe City’ initiative, a strategic effort to elevate Karachi’s safety standards, as reported in a news article on May 27.

According to details, with an investment surpassing PKR 3 billion, the project will unfold in two phases. Minister Lanjar outlined that the first phase is expected to be completed within 12 months. This phase is focused on substantially lowering the crime rate and eliminating criminal activities in Karachi.

Upon the successful completion of this initial phase, the project will expand in its second phase to encompass other cities across Sindh.
