Karachi: Local Government Minister Saeed Ghani has urged the Malir Development Authority (MDA) to accelerate the completion of its housing projects designed to benefit the public, as reported on August 27.

As per details, Ghani emphasised the need for overcoming current challenges hindering the progress of three major MDA projects. He instructed MDA officials to provide detailed reports on the obstacles causing delays and submit them for the Sindh government’s review, to help resolve these issues promptly. The Minister highlighted the importance of finishing these housing schemes quickly to offer affordable living options to the community.

Ghani reaffirmed the Sindh government’s dedication to the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) manifesto, which focuses on providing shelter to every family in the province. The meeting included MDA Director-General Najamuddin Sehto, Project Director Muhammad Laeeq Ahmed, Superintendent Engineer Shiraz Mirani, Land Management Director Farooq Bugti, Finance Director Waqas Soomro, and other senior officials.
