Rawalpindi: Rawalpindi Division Commissioner Liaquat Ali Chatta conducted a visit to inspect the ongoing development of the first Business Facilitation Centre within the Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA), according to a news source on January 5.

As disclosed in further details, the Commissioner, accompanied by the RDA Director General (DG), Development Director, and other relevant officers, thoroughly examined the centre. The formal inauguration of the inaugural Business Facilitation Centre for the division is scheduled for January 15.
The Commissioner highlighted the initiative’s purpose, emphasising its aim to provide comprehensive facilities for launching new businesses through a streamlined, one-window operation. He pointed out that the centre will have focal persons from all relevant departments, facilitating a consolidated approach for entrepreneurs.
Introducing a one-window operation is expected to significantly save time for businessmen, eliminating the need for multiple department visits. Commissioner Chatta mentioned that the expedited issuance of No Objection Certificates (NOCs) would accelerate economic activities in the region.

Providing a progress update, the Commissioner revealed that 90% of the work on the Rawalpindi Business Facilitation Centre has been completed within a remarkably short period.
