Multan: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Mudassar Riaz Malik inaugurated a modern water filtration plant in a school in Makhdoom Rasheed, a news source reported. Speaking on the occasion, the DC said that the district administration will install modern water filtration plants in government schools in rural areas. These filtration plants will have the capacity to store 10,000 litres of water.
He said that private sector is going to help in the matter and funding is being obtained for the purpose. He said that in the initial phases, both students and the general public will be able to obtain water from these plants. He explained that because of issues of Hepatitis in Shujaabad and Jalalpur Peerwala, the water provision project is being completed on priority.
