Islamabad: The Defence Housing Authority Islamabad (DHA) issued a notice on January 6 rubbishing rumours circulated by some agents about a new commercial project on DHA Expressway in the vicinity of Blocks P and Q in Phase II.
Reportedly, a few agents fraudulently collected booking fees for such a project, which forced DHA to issue an official notice.
According to DHA, any booking activity for such a project is illegal and all parties involved in defrauding investors can be charged with legal action.
The developer disassociated itself from any such project and urged people to not invest. After the issuance of this notice, DHA stated that it would not shoulder any responsibility for losses incurred due to investment in such fraudulent projects.
