Lahore: The Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA) has received investment pledges of over USD 600 million in investments in its various development projects, news sources reported on March 5.

The investments were pledged by international organisations and under government-to-government agreements during the three-day Dubai International Property Show (IPS)-2023. The RUDA signed seven Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) and held 15 meetings with various parties during the event, leading to successful collaborations generating foreign direct investment (FDI).

Previously, RUDA and Punjab Central Business Development Authority (PCBDA) signed agreements worth USD 500 million with leading international companies during the first session of the Dubai property show last month. The authority visited Dubai to explore best practices of government-to-government and public-private partnership projects and to build on the success of their participation in IPS.
