Lahore: The Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA) arranged its first meeting in Riyadh to attract Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) from Saudi businesses interested in making short or long-term investments in its projects, according to news published on September 15.

Several Saudi royal dignitaries, investors, and expatriates attended the event. During his address, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Ahmed Farooq, referred to the Ravi Riverfront Urban Development Project as a futuristic, modern, and people-friendly upcoming city. The meeting was informed that the project comes with a game-changing strategy that will address all environmental concerns while also creating tremendous investment opportunities.

Earlier, RUDA Chief Operating Officer (COO) Mansoor Ahmed Janjua thanked Ambassador Ahmed Farooq, Princess Boudoir, and Mr. Abu Saleh Tamimi for their attendance. The COO also commended the Saudi businesses that expressed their interest in the project.
