Lahore: Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Imran Amin has invited industrialists to register their factories and production units with RUDA Industrial Zone (RIZ), news sources reported on February 17. He said that the industries will reap the benefits of tax breaks with RIZ.

Reportedly, during his visit to the RUDA Industrial Zone at the invitation of the Ravi Industrial Estate Association, CEO Amin said that the RIZ offers world-class industry-oriented and friendly infrastructure that will boost their revenue. He said so far the response of the industrialists is encouraging as over 100 factories registered in RUDA Industrial Zone, with the number expected to exceed 500 in the coming days. He said that RIZ is establishing a joint office with the association in the region where employee and employer concerns will be addressed. This will increase compliance and smooth operations.

It is worth mentioning that RUDA has said that its industrial zone would be ecologically friendly, with the usage of renewable energy. The initiative will power enterprises with renewable energy sources, with specific incentives given to industries that promote environmentally beneficial technology.
