Lahore: The Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA) has announced its partnership with Providential Group – which is established in Dubai and the United Kingdom – to build a state-of-the-art Entertainment City in Lahore, news sources reported on March 12.

The said Entertainment City will be located in one of the prime spots of Lahore and will preserve the cultural heritage of the city and will have tourism potential as well. The project will host multiple events, exhibitions, and conferences organised by the community. It will blend urban activities with cultural events, which will help flourish ecotourism through hosting cultural activities along the riverbanks.
In a statement released by RUDA through its official Twitter handle, it stated that the Entertainment City will have various attractions, including a utility zone, single-family marinas, single-family residences, an entertainment island, and a mixed-use island. The commercial zone will provide essential services for the residents and visitors of the city.

The project is expected to generate significant economic activity in the region, creating job opportunities and attracting foreign investment. It is also important to note that RUDA recently participated in the Dubai International Property Expo and has signed over seven memoranda of understanding (MOU) for various development works and to bring foreign direct investment into the country.
