Rawalpindi: The Rawalpindi Ring Road’s (RRR) feasibility study will be launched next month, a news source reported. The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) will work on the study; scheduled for completion by the end of the fiscal year.
According to a senior RDA official, the provincial government has obtained a loan from the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) for the project. A number of firms have also been invited for consultancy.

Furthermore, the agency has invited expressions of interest. The last date of submission for these proposals is February 28.
PKR 10 million have been allocated for the study by the Punjab government; with one-half of these currently released.
The consultants for the study will be hired within a month. The project is expected to begin in 2020, according to the official mentioned. Funds for land acquisition will be allocated in the next fiscal year.
