Rawalpindi: Out of the several important mega projects proposed for the city, the Government of Punjab has included Rawalpindi Ring Road project in its Annual Development Programme (ADP), reported a news source. An important meeting to discuss the feasibility of projects to be made part of the ADP is being held today, i.e., October 24.
The meeting will be chaired by Rawalpindi Corps Commander Lieutenant General Billal Akbar, while representatives from Rawalpindi Development Authority and all departments concerned will also be part of the meeting. The attendees have been asked to come fully prepared to share relevant details on the projects.
The meeting is to make important decisions regarding the construction of several mega projects in Rawalpindi. These include the construction and expansion of Ammar Shaheed Chowk Tunnel, interchanges on Ammar Chowk and Kachehri Chowk and Rawalpindi Ring Road.
