In January, non-resident Pakistanis (NRPs) sent USD 110 million through direct transfers and investments. However, the inflows have decreased over the last three months, with inflows of USD 141 million recorded in November 2022, followed by USD 140 million recorded in December 2022. The SBP has issued a statement saying that the government is taking measures to increase inflow from overseas Pakistanis by offering better-annualized returns on fixed deposits and other Roshan Digital products.
