Islamabad: Around 70% to 80% of roads in the commercial areas of Sector I-12 are completed, according to a news source. An official was quoted as saying that it was the former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif who had ordered the construction of these roads. Now, they are nearing completion.
The official further said that the sectors were established in 1996 but much development has not been done on them till now. In that respect, land has been acquired for the development of sector D-13 and the development work will begin soon.
