Islamabad: Road infrastructural development projects worth PKR 1,400 billion are currently in progress, a news source quoted the National Highway Authority (NHA) Chairman Shahid Ashraf Tarar. These projects will help establish an extensive road network in the country in the near future, adding new links between cities, districts and provinces, said Tarar.
The NHA Chairman was briefing the Senate’s Standing Committee for Transportation. The meeting was chaired by Senator Muhammad Daood Khan Achakzai, and was attended by Senator Sajjad Ali, Senator Muhammad Yousaf Badini, Senator Muhammad Usman Khan Kakar, Senator Kamil Ali Agha, and Senator Ashok Kumar.
