Lahore: Punjab Planning & Development Board Chairman Abdullah Khan Sumbal has approved seven development schemes in the province with an estimated budget of PKR 12.423 billion, a news source reported on June 17. The decision was made during the 44th meeting of the Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP).

Following development projects were accepted during the meeting
- PKR 706.683 million will be spent for the updated scheme of dualisation of the Khurrianwala-Sahinwala Road
- PKR 603.846 million for revised dualisation scheme of Lahore-Jaranwala-Faisalabad-Jhang-Bhakkar Road
- PKR 691.063 million for the updated scheme of expansion of the Sargodha-Gujrat Road (Jhal Chakkian to Bhalwal Section).
- PKR 465.286 million is allocated for the rehabilitation of Tibbi Morr, MM Road to Chor Wala Morr, Sargodha Road through Chor Wala Village (Phase-I), District Mianwali (Revised)
- PKR 476.961 million for road extension from Buchal Kalan to Lilla (Phase II), Chakwal (Revised)
- PKR 8,525 million has been set aside for the revised World Bank-assisted Economic Growth Project
- PKR 955.018 million has been set aside for the building of the Rohtas Fort Bypass Road in the District of Jhelum.
