Dr Khan (aged 85) recently died in Islamabad and was accorded a state funeral at Faisal Mosque, followed by his burial at Sector H-8 graveyard. He was hailed as a national hero, and the federal cabinet wants to offer a small tribute to the memory of his services for Pakistan. To this effect, CDA officials will compile their proposals, which will be finalised and approved by the federal cabinet.
