Karachi: In Karachi Metropolitan Corporation’s (KMC) City Council’s meeting, which was held on Wednesday at the KMC Building’s Council Hall, the union council demanded Sindh Government to increase its funds, according to a news report. The meeting was presided over by Mayor Wasim Akhtar.
The session resulted in the adoption of various resolutions. One of the resolutions involved a demand for an increase in union council funds from PKR 200,000 to PKR 600,000. The mayor added that the elected representatives were putting in the effort to solve the city’s problems, and reforms were being made in various departments for this purpose. The meeting was concluded in 20 minutes, where the resolutions were discussed separately.
