Karachi: Cement sales grew by about 1.67% and rose to 26.765 million tonnes during the first seven months of the current fiscal year, a news source reported. This growth was rather low because of the reduction in government spending on infrastructure projects.
However, the exports appreciated by 50.47% and rose from 2.775 million tonnes to 4.141 million tonnes during the July-January period of 2018-19.
