Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin (CM) Naqvi announced that Ring Road Southern Loop 3 (SL-3) is expected to be open by the end of this month, according to news source reported on January 9.

The CM conducted an on-site inspection of the Lahore Ring Road SL-3 Project on Maraka Multan Road. He shared that the anticipated completion date for this significant infrastructure project is set for January 31. The 8-kilometre long project is currently in progress, and the CM issued directives to ensure its timely completion during the inspection.
Expressing optimism about the project, Naqvi highlighted the positive impact of the said project on public transportation facilities. During the visit, the Chief Minister emphasized the importance of maintaining high standards in the execution of the project.

Speaking to the media after the inspection, Naqvi acknowledged the challenges posed by weather conditions, particularly citing the time-consuming dehumidification process causing delays in the project’s timeline. Despite these hurdles, he assured continuous efforts and emphasized round-the-clock monitoring by provincial ministers and designated teams to ensure the project’s timely completion.
