Lahore: The Punjab government has set the revenue collection targets for next year at PKR 283 billion, a news source reported. This will be an increase of 36% as compared to the revised target of PKR 208 billion during the current fiscal.
Punjab Revenue Authority has been set the target of PKR 160 billion as compared to this year’s target of PKR 105 billion. Similarly, Board of Revenue has been given a target of PKR 80 billion as compared to PKR 72 billion during this year.

The Department of Excise & Taxation has been given the target of PKR 35.7 billion as compared to current year’s target of PKR 30.5 billion.
The government has also issued instructions to complete the preparations of the budget before Eid. The current government will present its second budget on June 14, 2019.
