Islamabad: The federal government has allocated over PKR 1.8 billion for the Revenue Division’s development schemes under the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP), a news source reported. These include 16 ongoing projects and two new ones.

From the total sum of PKR 1,818.238 million, the government will spend PKR 1,628.238 million on the completion of 16 ongoing development schemes. Another PKR 190 million will be invested in two new development projects.
These projects include an Integrated Transit Trade Management System (ITTMS), Inland Revenue Offices, and a Regional Tax Office in Islamabad. The government has also allocated some of these funds for a ‘Strengthening Tax System & Building Tax Policy Analysis Capacity’ project.

The two new development schemes include the establishment of the National Single Window Programme in Islamabad, and the construction of Office of Intelligence & Investigation (IRS) in Karachi.
