Lahore: Representatives of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and the provincial revenue authorities held a meeting recently to consider the development of a single-returns form and a joint online portal for returns and tax payments — with both initiatives aimed at facilitating taxpayers around the country, according to an FBR notification made on July 27 through the authority’s official Facebook page. The move is also expected to improve ease-of-doing-business in Pakistan.
