Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) held the third ballot of LDA City on Saturday (September 04), news sources reported. During the process, plot numbers were assigned to a total of 3,887 applicants.

The event was held at the LDA Sports Complex and was presided over by Housing Minister Malik Asad Khokhar. The ballot results are published on the LDA’s official website. However, the authority has not released a timeline for the possession handover of the said plots to the allottees.

Minister Khokhar lauded LDA management for their development work and completion of balloting in a transparent manner. LDA Director General Ahmed Aziz Tarar said that the management has worked tirelessly to resolve problems related to construction and complications related to regulations to conduct transparent balloting. It was also revealed during the ceremony that commercial plots were also included in the balloting. Previously, LDA requested LDA City file holders to get the appropriate permits and letters of authorization in order to become part of the ballot.
