Karachi: The Sindh Local Government (LG) secretary stated that the restoration of roads and infrastructure in Karachi is a top priority of the government and work is progressing at an accelerated speed, according to news published in the national dailies on September 27.

The LG Secretary held a meeting with the World Bank (WB) delegation to discuss the restoration of Karachi’s infrastructure and repairing of roads. He went on to say that on the directives of the Chief Minister (CM) Sindh Murad Ali Shah, all the administrators and municipal commissioners are monitoring the development work.

The news source mentioned that Karachi Development Authority (KDA), Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC), District Municipal Corporations (DMC) and other concerned bodies are working in collaboration for the betterment of the city. The WB delegation mentioned all support will be provided to overcome the difficult situation.
