Restoration of historical buildings on Mall to begin today

Lahore: The restoration of the historical buildings on Mall Road is set to begin today (Tuesday), on the orders of the High Court, a news source reported. The High Court had previously ordered the restoration of buildings on the Mall to their original state.

Mall Road contains some of the masterpieces of the British era. The High Court had been hearing the case about encroachments and hoardings on Mall Road and had previously instructed Parks & Horticulture (PHA) to utilise all resources to remove the encroachments and restore the Mall to its original beauty.
