Islamabad: National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Government Assurance has instructed the Capital Development Authority (CDA) to address issues relating to Sector E-12 on an urgent basis, states a news source. The committee stressed that the CDA needs to complete pending development work without further delay.
According to details, the instructions were given in a meeting chaired by Committee Convener Abdul Majeed Khan, who asked the CDA to make any changes required in the CDA Ordinance to help E-12 affectees, and send its recommendations to the government. The CDA chair assured the meeting that an SOP would be formed to address the issue.
