Ghani informed the assembly that they had not tasked the Sindh Solid Waste Management Board (SSWMB) with the disposal of construction debris and other solid waste in the city. He added that the issues concerning the removal of garbage from homes was not due to the SSWMB, but because of the poor performance of the Chinese firms contracted for the project.
