Tank: The residents of the district on Wednesday requested the government for rehabilitation of the Tatoor Bridge, which had collapsed four months ago due to flash floods in the area, a news source reported.

The floods had left fourteen villages disconnected from each other and other parts of the district. These included Tatoor, Abakheil, Lati Kalay, Babakheil, Kot Gulan, Bazay Kalay, Segar, Dabak Kalay, Shah Zamani, Faqir Abad, Naway Tatoor, Jalandar, and Kanazai.
As per sources, the residents of these remote villages have been facing many troubles due to the collapse of the Tatoor Bridge. The locals said that they had submitted several applications to the authorities concerned but so far, there has been no action taken to rebuild the fallen bridge.

In light of their increasing troubles and disrupted routines, the residents have requested the provincial government to take measures for rehabilitation the Tatoor Bridge on a priority basis.
