Islamabad: The residents of sector F-6/2 protested against the Capital Development Authority (CDA)’s plan to construct a road on the greenbelt specifically created to depollute the sewerage drain, states a news source.
According to details, the CDA is planning to raze the greenbelt and cut many trees along it to construct a road which will, allegedly, benefit a certain person.
The residents claim that this action would be against the CDA Environment Protection Act and thus, requested the authorities concerned stop the civic body from doing so.
