Lower Dir: The authority concerned shared that the repair and maintenance work on a 3.3-kilometre road – from Timergara Jail to Timergara Chowk – has been started, a news source reported on January 23.

As per the details, the provincial government has allotted PKR 175.099 million for the said project. The road project is progressing at a fast pace under the supervision of Executive Engineer Highways Maqbool Azam.

The news source mentioned that once the construction phase of the Jail-Timergara Chowk Road will be completed, work on the installation of street lights will be started. It was mentioned that the construction of the said road will address several problems including drainage and flooding in Timergara Bazaar along with ensuring smooth traffic flow.
