Islamabad: According to a news report, on March 1 2018 Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi chaired a meeting in which he asked for the implementation of law regarding the increase of rent rate of dwellings in Islamabad’s Zone 4. This area houses 56 villages, and after every three years the rent here is proposed to increase by 25%, a proposition on which implementation is now directed by the PM himself.
Zone 4 includes River Soan, on the banks of which are various villages. The rent increase for all these have been agreed upon with consent, and has been planned for the maintenance and upkeep of the entire area.
