Karachi: While chairing a Citizens Advisory Committee on Thursday, Federal Minister of National History and Literary Heritage Shafqat Mehmood announced plans to renovate and decorate the National Museum of Karachi, according to the news sources.
According to the official press release, the minister maintained that the museum is a great national asset, and should be treated as such.

The committee planned to redecorate the museum with digital and 3D technologies at par with the modern standards. It was also decided that the renovation will be carried out in phases. The minister also directed the management and committee members to renovate the building’s exterior, and launch the new look before December 25 this year.

The minister assured the administration that the required funds will be provided, and talented people will be hired, although no compromises will made in regards to the museum’s renovation.
