Faisalabad: In a significant development, Punjab Caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Raza Naqvi has granted formal approval for the remodelling, repair, and maintenance of four major roads in Faisalabad, according to news published on October 19.

As per the details shared, the major roads of the city to be revamped include Jhang Road, Sargodha Road, and Sammundri Road.
During a meeting held at the Commissioner Complex in Faisalabad, the Chief Minister chaired the proceedings. He instructed Commissioner Madam Silwat Saeed to present a comprehensive plan for the remodelling of major roads in Faisalabad within the next few days. The aim is to kickstart the construction work on this vital project without any unnecessary delays.
Furthermore, the Chief Minister has directed the prompt release of funds to expedite the repair and maintenance of city roads. This initiative is designed to facilitate patchwork and ensure that the city’s road infrastructure is quickly brought up to standard.

The meeting was attended by Caretaker Provincial Minister for Information Amir Mir, the Chairman of the Planning and Development Board, and other key officials, marking a coordinated effort towards improving Faisalabad’s road infrastructure.
