Multan: Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) Multan Director General Dr. Muhammad Zahid Ikram has revealed that that the process to rehabilitate Qasim Bagh has begun, a news source reported.

The plan to set up and rehabilitate parks in Multan at a cost of PKR 100 million was shared back in May 2018. Later in December 2018, PHA was assigned the task to rehabilitate 57 public parks in the city.
Sharing details on the ongoing work to rehabilitate Qasim Bagh, PHA Director Ikram said that landscaping work is underway, and the authority is currently planting grass. Furthermore, plantation work near the park’s entrance and along the tracks is also underway.

PHA director also said that in order to maintain the park’s beauty, the authority will not allow any illegal or unauthorised activities. He also said that those found engaging in activities that are dangerous for the park and the visitors will face legal action.
