Lahore: Lahore Commissioner Muhammad Amir Jan reviewed the upgradation and redesigning of MM Alam Road in a bid to cope with the increasing flow of traffic, according to a news published on November 29.

A review meeting was held at the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) office, which was co-chaired by Lahore Commissioner and LDA Director General Aamir Ahmed Khan. During the meeting, the commissioner briefed the attendees that an integrated plan was being implemented for improving the flow of traffic throughout the city. He went on to say that MM Alam Road must be upgraded immediately to ensure smooth traffic flow and to accommodate the increasing flow of traffic.

Under the plan, the encroachments on MM Alam Road will be removed and all the utility services will be shifted underground. It was mentioned that the next consultation meeting for redesigning MM Alam Road is scheduled to be held in ten days.
