Rawalpindi: Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) Director General (DG) Ammara Khan has announced the civic agency’s decision to digitise the records of all housing schemes in the city, a news source reported. She further stated that the information would be linked to an integrated automated system that will be launched soon.
The DG said that the introduction of a transparency-based system would contribute to the efficiency of the RDA. She added that development work on the Rawalpindi Master Plan 2020-40 would commence soon.

She said that the department’s priority was to launch development initiatives and provide modern amenities to the people of Rawalpindi. She affirmed that road infrastructure projects like the Rawalpindi Ring Road (RRR) and the Leh Expressway initiatives would be developed on an immediate basis.

DG Ammara Khan also said that the civic agency was considering to commence with development of a housing scheme; adding that the project held immense importance for the RDA.
