As per the details, reconstruction of the 29-kilometre Narowal-Zafarwal long road has already begun and it is expected to be completed by December 31, 2022. The road remained in a deteriorated state for the last several decades. For its rehabilitation, several feasibility studies were conducted, but no work was done until now. Reportedly, the sewage from the nearby villages and settlements had kept the road in such condition. To address this, a sewerage line will be laid along the road.
