The chairman said that the government has issued directions for the authority to ‘leave no stone unturned’ when serving the city’s residents. He said that the initiative to computerise the one-window centre was launched a few months back and would soon start receiving online applications. The one-widow cell is aimed at timely expediting public issues.
Murtaza said that the authority is banning direct access to functionaries and shifting all applications to online channels. These measures are being taken to make the whole process more transparent.
