Rawalpindi: The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has decided to set up a charity wall (Deewar-e-Meherbani) outside its office, a news source reported.

RDA Chairman Arif Abbasi recently expressed his views on the matter. He was talking to reporters in Rawalpindi on Sunday.
He said that the purpose of this initiative is to provide books, stationary and uniform for less privileged students. He added that the charity wall would facilitate those children who had to skip schooling owing to a financial crisis.

The RDA chairman said that passersby willing to donate were welcome to drop off their contributions by the wall. He also urged citizens to participate wholeheartedly in this philanthropic activity.
