Rawalpindi: The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has prepared a residential project for government employees – a news source reported.
The civic body aims to provide residential units to low-income groups. Under the project, RDA will establish two separate schemes. These will feature houses and farmhouses.

Buyers will have the option to choose from three, five, and seven-marla plots. Similarly, farmhouses constructed in four and eight kanal sizes will be offered for sale.
RDA Chairman Arif Abbasi said that they will advertise the project next week.
Employees of WASA, PHA, and RDA will be given flats under NPHP. The federal government recently gave its approval regarding the provision of flats.

This will be RDA’s first government scheme to provide civic amenities. Schools, a community centre, mosques, and playgrounds will also be constructed.
According to the RDA chairman, the project is being developed under a public-private partnership framework.
