The RDA is planning to launch a Miyawaki forest at Rialto Park on Murree Road, near Mareer Chowk — which is close to the entrance of the city. RDA Chairman Tariq Mehmood Murtaza stated that the expenses incurred to develop this urban forest would be paid from the authority’s own resources, in order to avoid burdening the national exchequer.
