Rawalpindi: Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has decided to construct a state-of-the-art building titled “Face of the City” on 13 kanals of land on Liaquat Bagh, Murree Road, a news source reported. This building will serve as a monument and identity for the city.
The building is going to be a multi-storey plaza that will house RDA’s office, a shopping mall, banks and restaurants among other kinds of shops and offices including railways and airline booking offices. The building will also have open lawns and a children’s play area.
The project is to be executed on the basis of public-private partnership and will be completed in a period of three years. The RDA officials hope that public funds will not be needed for the project.
