The RDA in the wake of the recent developments, has conducted a series of operations against illegal commercial constructions in the city. Working in conjunction with the police, the RDA’s enforcement squad successfully sealed a commercial building that was being used as a school. As per the details, the authority notified the owners of severe consequences in case of violation of the approved maps and plans.
Moreover, it has also been shared that they were given an opportunity to rectify the situation by obtaining No-Objection Certificates (NOCs) to legalize their constructions. Following the standards, the actions taken against the property owners were in accordance with the PDC Act 1976, and the RDA Building and Zoning Regulations of 2020, indicating the legal basis for the enforcement.
